No. 1070 is a TMC RTS-06 T80-606 bus built by Transportation Manufacturing Corporation (TMC) in 1990. It runs on a Dietroit Diesel 6v92TA engine.
No. 1070 served under various companies, Pioneer Valley Transit Authority and later, UMass Transit Services, as its most recent assignments. It was retired in April 2018 and was last used as a charter bus for the University of Massachussetts Amherst.
No. 1070 was graciously donated to the museum in 2021.
